Panama City Beach: Monday leads Booked Occupancy (Oct 26–Nov 1, 2026)

Panama City Beach short-term rentals show higher Booked Occupancy on Monday than Halloween for Oct 26–Nov 1, 2026. Bedroom-rate bands add pricing context.

Updated October 20, 2026

Halloween puts celebrations on Panama City Beach, Florida’s calendar, but should it also anchor your rental-week decisions? The citywide booking pattern points elsewhere, while bedroom-level pricing adds an important filter for your own home.

Monday, not Halloween, has the highest citywide Booked Occupancy in Panama City Beach for October 26, 2026–November 1, 2026. Wheelhouse data as of October 15, 2026 shows Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11.1% Booked Occupancy, versus 9.0% on Saturday, October 31, 2026. These figures measure the share of nights already reserved, not final Occupancy.

Wheelhouse data shows Halloween has lower Booked Occupancy than Monday despite a higher Asking Rate.

Halloween’s calendar and its booking position differ

ZooWorld’s ZooBoo runs October 31, 2026–November 1, 2026, covering the closing weekend of the analyzed stays, October 26, 2026–November 1, 2026. The Toys for Kids Foundation Halloween Bash at Hammerhead Fred’s also falls on Oct 31. Those occasions give the weekend local context, but their scheduled dates do not measure overnight demand.

The telling contrast is that Halloween’s Asking Rate is $311, above Monday’s $304, even though its Booked Occupancy is lower. Asking Rates are advertised nightly prices including fees, not achieved ADR. A higher advertised price therefore is not evidence that guests have booked at that price.

Halloween has more time remaining until arrival than Monday. That timing difference matters when reading the snapshot, but it does not explain the gap by itself. The immediate takeaway is narrower: the holiday label alone is not a sound basis for giving Saturday priority over the rest of this week.

Bedroom count changes the relevant price reference

The citywide Asking Rate is only a starting point for an individual property. Wheelhouse Market Pulse for October 2026, as of October 15, 2026, places the median Asking Rate for homes with 2 bedrooms in the $250 to under $255 band. For homes with 4 bedrooms, the median falls in the $485 to under $490 band.

That contrast helps explain why the same citywide figure can be an unsuitable benchmark for different homes. These are monthly, fee-inclusive price distributions—not Halloween-specific quotes—and each median is reported as a containing band rather than an exact price. Use the bedroom view to choose a relevant comparison group, not to infer bedroom-specific Booked Occupancy or a holiday premium.

Does your own calendar put Halloween first?

Use Wheelhouse Dynamic Sets to build a comparable-property group matched to your home’s bedroom count and other relevant attributes, then inspect asking prices for Oct 26 and Oct 31. This addresses the pricing comparison; it does not replace checking your own reservations.

For that separate task, use Wheelhouse Performance Analytics alongside your calendar records to examine confirmed bookings and booked rates for those dates. Keep eligible nights consistent and account for cancellations and blocks. Where comparable historical records exist, compare each date with its own same-weekday reference at matching time remaining until arrival. Monday-versus-Saturday differences remain a competing explanation, not an event effect.

Keep the initial focus on whether your Halloween asking price is supported by comparable homes and your own booking record. If your property shows stronger Halloween reservations at confirmed rates that support its price, the citywide Monday lead need not dictate your approach. If it does not, the celebration calendar alone is insufficient support for a higher Halloween price.

How Wheelhouse measures this

Wheelhouse Market Reports track bookings and advertised prices across short-term rental listings in Panama City Beach. This article uses Wheelhouse data as of October 15, 2026.

Booked Occupancy is the share of nights already reserved for each stay date as of October 15, 2026. Asking Rate is the nightly price listings advertise for each date, fees included.

The bedroom chart uses monthly asking-rate distributions for 2026-10, including fees. Quartiles and medians are price bands, not exact prices. Bedroom groups follow the source report. These price distributions do not establish bedroom-specific occupancy.
